A day or two ago, leaves of gold began to fall

And I remember thinking.. is that the end of summer… is that all?

We all say time goes fast, the older some get, the more they reflect on their past

And some even say to me , life… it’s what you give ,what you call

Or even say .. is that all?



I chose each day that is given to me

To do the things that have given priority

Some tasks big some small.. some ever perhaps too tall?

But how could I ever think for a second or two

Is that all there is to life.. is that all?



Life is gift from The creator above

We can do as we please, be it selfishly.. or with love

We can share, in love, in care , in a listening ear

Listening has become an art… to many its so clear

That all we say each time we speak

Oh I'm so busy..

But what are you doing with your given week?



Have you time to say hi! And really mean, how are ya?

Or are you to busy to really care?

We can run through life like time is running out

And you know what.. one day it will,

On that have no doubt.



And when we come to the end of our life

Be it in summer or winter or fall

We wont need to say .. is that all?

For eternity waits for us.. when God calls,

If we have been faithful and serving Him, in love

He will call us to His heaven above.
